Welcome to a valuable collection of resources from the Good Practice Event held in Newtown on June 21st. These resources were presented during breakout sessions on two important topics: “Bilingual Resources for the Foundation Qualification via Moodle” and “Development of Level 3 Resources,” led by our colleagues from the NPTC Group.
For those involved in teaching the Foundation qualification, there is a set of helpful tools. These include quizzes to test knowledge, planning and target-setting aids, and PowerPoints for the common mandatory units. These resources are designed to support delivery of the qualification in Welsh.
Please note the Foundation resources are available in both English and Welsh.

For those teaching Level 3 Construction, there are extensive PowerPoints and worksheets designed specifically for Units 301, 302, and 303. These resources are tailored to support the teaching and learning experience when delivering these units.
The Level 3 resources are currently available in English only. However, we are working on providing translations in the future.
Level 2 Award in Digital Skills for ConstructionThis video provides an overview of the Level 2 Award in Digital Skills for Construction, which is a part of the Welsh Apprenticeship Framework.
It includes a summary of the Award, Learning Outcomes and Criteria, Assessment Method, Types of Evidence, and the applicable Recording Forms that are available for usage.
This qualification has free digital Delivery Guides available. These resources have been designed to aid delivery of the mandatory and optional units of the qualification, offering overarching support for tutors when delivering new trade units, making the writing of schemes of work quicker and easier and ensuring confidence that the right content is being covered.
Delivery support includes examples of:
- relevant legislation, regulations, documents and guidance
- safe systems of work procedures
- appropriate practical advice
- any specialist equipment required and their applications
- good methods/techniques to be used
- basic mathematical/science principles that underpin the unit.
Additional resources are also available for Unit 201 and 202. These resources include schemes of work, PowerPoints, worksheets and multiple-choice questions.
