The City & Guilds Construction (Level 3) – Floorcovering is designed to allow learners in work-based learning to develop and enhance their knowledge, skills and understanding of Floorcovering and of how it is performed in Wales.

The City & Guilds Construction (Level 2) – Bricklaying is designed to allow learners in work-based learning to learn and develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of bricklaying. Learners will also develop their understanding of construction workplace practices in Wales, including sustainability and environmental considerations.

The City & Guilds Construction (Level 2) – Site Carpentry is designed to allow learners in work-based learning to learn and develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of site carpentry. Learners will also develop their understanding of construction workplace practices in Wales, including sustainability and environmental considerations.

Learners will also develop their understanding of construction workplace practices in Wales, including sustainability and environmental considerations.

Welcome to a valuable collection of resources from the Good Practice Event held in Newtown on June 21st. These resources were presented during breakout sessions on two important topics: “Bilingual Resources for the Foundation Qualification via Moodle” and “Development of Level 3 Resources,” led by our colleagues from the NPTC Group.

For those involved in teaching the Foundation qualification, there is a set of helpful tools. These include quizzes to test knowledge, planning and target-setting aids, and PowerPoints for the common mandatory units. These resources are designed to support delivery of the qualification in Welsh.

Please note the Foundation resources are available in both English and Welsh.

The Level 3 resources are currently available in English only. However, we are working on providing translations in the future.
